Meet the Team: Richard Halchak

Richard has been in sales his entire career, which is what eventually led him to Big Visual Group. While working in the industrial equipment field, Richard was responsible for several members of the sales team at Core Business Technologies, where he served for over 30 years. After moving to Tennessee, Richard changed roles within the organization from selling hardware to software, serving higher education clients.

When an opportunity to join the team at Big Visual Group came available, the decision to accept was an easy one for Richard. “I was familiar with Big Visual Group’s capabilities, so the opportunity to join Scott Snoyer and his talented team was a privilege and is something I am thrilled to be a part of. I’m looking forward to helping grow this incredible business,” says Richard.

When it comes to his role at Big Visual Group, Richard says, “My position is quite different from others here. As the Business Development Manager, my role involves introducing people who are unfamiliar with Big Visual Group to all the company has to offer, and then bringing them into the family.” The amazing team, the top-of-the-line equipment, and the fact that BVG is a one-stop shop are among Richard’s favorite things about working for the company. “You don’t have the type of clients like we do, if you are not a highly-regarded and well-respected organization,” affirms Richard.

Outside of work, Richard has several hobbies, including photography, golfing, gardening, and cooking. Richard is also very proud of his family. One of his daughters lives in Los Angeles and is in the process of completing her doctoral thesis, and his other daughter is a nurse at Nashville’s Saint Thomas Medical Center.
